Romney, a third generation Alaskan, started painting her colorful ceramics in the summer of 1991 after the birth of her first of three sons. She originally only wanted to make a set of dishes for herself , but friends liked her designs so much they wanted to buy them. Her work was an immediate hit and supply has never been able to keep up with demand!

Stephen has been a watercolor artist for many years and has illustrated several children’s books. He also does graphic arts, photography and illustration and paints in oils.
Today Romney and Stephen collaborate on many designs and they both sign these pieces. They enjoy working together and feel that their different styles compliment each other well.
