March 7, 2005 was Romney's Grandma Lorene's 100th birhtday. The Anchorage Concert Chorus ( which Lorene founded 60 years ago) created a "Happy Birthday Lorene" performance on March 8,2005 in the Performing Arts Center in downtown Anchorage. It was a packed house (1500) and a magical night where Alaskans were able to pay tribute to Anchorage's "Queen Mother of the Arts".

Early this spring the boys resumed their sporting clays shooting league. Davis is finally old enough to participate and this is the first time ever all three boys are on the same team of any kind.
Also, I finally created a web site for this youth league. You can go there by clicking the Youth League Logo.

At the end of July we went to the SF Bay Area to visit Nana, Diane and Michael, Chris and Susan and other relatives. We spent a couple of days in San Francisco at the Hotel Vitale on the waterfront. We went to a Giants game, Alcatraz and Chinatown. It was very non- typical SF weather - in the 80's and 90's !
